Allianz Registration Insurance – The Registration Protector

AthleteReg now offers Allianz Registration Protection to participants when they register for events that cost $50 or more.

Allianz Registration Protector gives you an opportunity to get reimbursed for up to 100% of your entry if you can’t attend the event for a qualifying reason.

There is no cost to event directors and no obligations or liabilities to Cool Breeze Century if a claim is made. It’s handled entirely by Allianz Global Assistance and any questions should be addressed by emailing Tech@athleteReg.com or calling us at (888) 956-9560.

What should I do if I bought Allianz Registration Protection and I would like to request a refund?

If the participant is eligible to make a claim on their registration protector, they should go to https://www.eventregistrationprotection.com/allianzassistance/ManagePolicy/ and enter their policy number and purchase date. If they don’t have a policy number, they can click “Don’t have your policy number?” and proceed from there.

If they aren’t eligible to make a claim, Cool Breeze Century is not obligated to issue a refund.

What does it cover?

Participants may be eligible for reimbursement in the following situations:

Illness or Serious Injury – if the participant is prevented from participating in the event due to a covered illness or injury, or if a family member is hospitalized or requires care by the participant

Employer Termination – After being employed by the same employer for one continuous year, the participant is laid off

Traffic Accidents – if you are directly involved in a traffic accident and unable to get to the event
